PSG PRIVACY POLICY
INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE
Precision Solutions Group (“PSG”) is committed to providing quality services and protecting the privacy of its customers, business partners, suppliers and stakeholders in respect of how Personal Information is collected and managed.
PSG has adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The APPs govern the way in which PSG will collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of Personal Information.
A copy of the Australian Privacy Principles may be obtained from the website of The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.aoic.gov.au.
POLICY APPLICATION
This policy applies across PSG to all directors, executives and employees, including contractors and sub-contractors, of PSG companies (PSG personnel) and covers all work-related activities and functions.
Given the diversified nature of PSG’s operations across a number of industry sectors and extending to countries outside Australia, business units may also adopt their own privacy policies with specific relevance to their fields of operation. This policy will apply to the extent there is any inconsistency with business unit privacy policies.
This policy does not replace legislation and if any part of it is in conflict, then legislation takes precedence.
POLICY
Personal information is defined as information or an opinion that identifies an individual such as a name, address or phone number. Personal Information will be used by PSG only:

for the primary purposes of providing services and information to clients, and marketing;

for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure; and

where appropriate and possible, PSG has taken steps to explain why it is collecting the information and how it plans to use it.
Sensitive Information is defined to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information. Sensitive Information will be used by PSG only:

for the primary purpose for which it was obtained;

for a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose; and

with the individual’s consent; or where required or authorised by law.

ANNEXURE A – Further details on the application and implementation of this policy
1. Third parties
Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect Personal Information only from the individual. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that individuals are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.
2. Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal Information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following:

to third parties where individuals consent to the use or disclosure; and

where required or authorised by law.
3. Security of Personal Information
Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
When Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, PSG will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it. However, most of the Personal Information collected is or will be stored in client files which will be kept for a minimum of 7 years.
4. Access to Personal Information
Individuals may access the Personal Information held by PSG about them to update and or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If individuals wish to access the Personal Information held by PSG about them, they can do so by contact PSG in writing at contact@psg.ltd.
PSG will not charge any fee for access requests but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of the individual’s Personal Information.
In order to protect individual’s Personal Information, PSG may require identification before releasing the requested information.
5. Maintaining the quality of Personal Information
It is an important to PSG that Personal Information is up to date. PSG will take reasonable steps to make sure that Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If an individual identifies that the information held by PSG is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise PSG as soon as practicable so it can update its records and ensure it can continue to provide quality services.
